ExampleEvery session starts where the last one ended.
Why it exists
Claude is clever. On its own, it forgets.
Every chat starts from zero
You explain your business, your customers and how you like things done. Next week you explain it all again.
Free kits need a weekend
There are templates online, built for developers. They expect GitHub, a terminal and patience. Most small-business owners have none of those to spare.
Nothing stops it guessing
An assistant that says a job is done without checking is worse than no assistant. Questline gives it rules, and it follows them.
How it works
Set up in an afternoon. Better every week.
Double-click the installer
It checks you have Obsidian and Claude, offers the official download pages if not, then builds your vault and opens it.
Answer a few plain questions
What to call your assistant, how you like to work, and what your business does. No terminal, no code.
Say hello
Your assistant answers with the greeting you chose. From then on it keeps its own notes, so every session picks up where the last one ended.
The route
Start small. Go as far as your business needs.
Prices in Australian dollars. You only ever buy the package once.
Free starter
Try the core idea before you spend anything: the boot file that gives Claude its memory, a short rulebook and one skill.
The package
The full system, installed by double-clicking one file. It checks for Obsidian and Claude, builds your vault, sets everything up and opens it.
Membership
For package owners who want it to keep growing. Optional, and you can stop any time.
- Every update to the package
- New skill books, released regularly

Side quests: when you want a hand
Setup session
A 60 to 90 minute remote session. We install it with you, then walk through your first real session together.
Business tailoring
Your own assistant's identity and rules, folders for your projects, two or three custom skills, and 30 days of follow-up.
Team edition
One shared vault for up to 5 people. Each person gets their own assistant, and the owner can keep a private vault for payroll and HR.
The rules
An assistant you can leave with the books.
Memory is the easy part. Questline ships with 13 standing rules your assistant follows in every session, and you can tailor them. Six of them:
Evidence, never guessesIt checks the actual file before it says anything is done. If it isn't sure, it says so and goes to find out.
Asks before it touches code or settingsIt states the exact change it wants to make, then waits for your clear yes.
No secrets in notesPasswords and keys never get written into your notes. It records where they're kept instead.
Only verified email addressesIt won't write to an address it can't trace to the business's own website or a message they sent.
Keeps its notes tidyEvery project keeps a dated status at the top, so nothing goes stale without you seeing it.
One open question at a timeWhen it needs your decision, it asks one thing and waits for your answer.

Questions
Before you set out
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The installer asks a few plain questions, like what to call your assistant and how you like to work, and does the rest. If you'd rather not touch it at all, book a setup session.
Is Questline part of Anthropic or Obsidian?
No. Questline is an independent Australian business. Claude is made by Anthropic and Obsidian by its own team; you hold your own accounts with each.
Who is it for?
Small-business owners and busy professionals who already pay for Claude and want it to remember their work, follow their rules and handle the admin. Developers who enjoy building their own will be happy with the free kits online.
Has it been used for real?
Yes. It's built from the system its maker has used every working day since July 2026 for real business work: planning, research, writing, admin, and building business apps.
What about refunds and the licence?
The licence and refund terms are being reviewed by a lawyer. They'll be published here before orders open, and your rights under Australian Consumer Law always apply.
Does it work on a Mac?
The Mac installer is built and still has to be tested on a real Mac. Join the list and we'll tell you when it's ready.
